Bats
  • Home Range: 1 to five square miles.
 
  • Food: Small mammals, carrion, insects, fruit.
 
  • Mating: Mid/late autumn to winter. The females are able to retain sperm cells in their uterus until spring.
 
  • Gestation: 50 to 60 days
 
  • Young born: Late May to late June.
 
  • Number of young: 1
 
  • Number of litters: 1
 
  • Young independent: 30 to 40 days
